Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna: What is it all about?
/Not all saunas are the same, and if you're already in the market of getting one, you may want to consider a sauna with the latest technologies out there. This doesn't reduce or remove the natural restorative and beneficial properties that are well known from saunas.
What it can do is simply add an extra benefit for your future sauna.
What does infrared mean?
Infrared is actually a wavelength of light that is just barely outside our reach of natural vision. This wavelength is near the visible spectrum of the red wavelength and color. It's a type of radiation, but completely harmless to humans. It's nothing like getting an X-Ray or those harmful UV rays that we need to protect ourselves from. The dangers that come from infrared saunas have nothing to do with radiation but have to do with saunas in general.
That means you should always ensure that you’re properly hydrated and don’t overstay in a sauna where you could overheat and have dizziness occur. The sauna itself uses light to warm up the sauna and your body instead of traditional saunas that use a heater for warmth generation.
How can infrared sauna be beneficial?
Simply put there's better penetration of the health benefits than traditional saunas offer. This means that it will help your body cleanse in several different ways. You'll feel more relaxed and be able to sleep better. It will aid the relief of joint pains or muscle tension, so always a good idea right after a rigorous workout.
Through relaxation, it can provide some benefits of lowering down blood pressure and improving your circulation. It can also help those with chronic fatigue syndrome. Simply put it's simply more effective than just hot steam rising from stones.
Go with a full spectrum sauna to maximize benefits
A full spectrum sauna will have the most health benefits possible, as it enables all three different types of infrared emitters. Each emitter has a different potential health benefit that works in cohesion with the other types of infrared emitters.
Near-Infrared emitters
This is all about getting the relaxation started. Near-infrared is focused on more topical level treatments. That means it'll help start the journey of relaxation with some initial mild pain relief. It's more about providing restorative properties to your skin as near-infrared can only penetrate right below the skin. It'll help promote healing and rejuvenation to that most important protective organ of yours.
Mid Infrared emitters
The next support comes from these types of emitters that will help to expand your blood vessels and improve that much-needed circulation that will help blood flow, reduce blood pressure, and start to remove soreness. This is due to the fact that the penetration goes beyond the inner layer of the skin and starts to target the soft tissue underneath.
Far Infrared Emitters
These are the most beneficial of the different types and help to round out a complete and holistic approach to how a sauna can help you. Combined with Mid Infrared it'll get your cardiovascular system working and actually be akin to a mild workout. These are the strongest wavelengths of the three and the deep penetration will offer the most amount of relief to muscle and joint pain.
A full spectrum infrared sauna with its varying wavelengths is the best option to target different areas of your body through different penetration levels.
Innovative Saunas and Cellars builds and installs custom full spectrum saunas
Our mission is to be able to turn any space or area you want into something as unique as a full spectrum infrared sauna. We believe that a home sauna should be a common component for any home, and work with you to design the best-infrared sauna you can envision.
We specifically work with this type of technology as it’s the latest out there in the world of Saunas, and we combine it with our expertise in designing these specialty rooms that need to have mitigating factors. We completely understand how to build with the mindset of being able to construct out these saunas with their unique needs and temperature controls in place.
On top of that, we also want to make sure that our saunas that we build for you won't end up requiring extensive maintenance and we build them in such a way that they won't cause any damage to your home through the infrared or additional humidity that they produce. We factor all of this into account when building and designing your unique sauna.
How we build our saunas
We always consider first working with your existing home aesthetic. We also like to work on building a modern and luxurious look wherever you decide to place your full spectrum infrared spa.
We design a zen-like appearance for your sauna build and work to use natural colored woods as the overall framework for the sauna. We go with a wood paneling setup that is best for saunas and replicate the same traditional saunas you find in the heart of Europe.
It’s not just about physical warmth but you want to be able to enter into one of our saunas and have the ambiance radiate warmth as well.
On top of that, we add marble flooring with a drain to leave any liquid residue easy to clean. Marble is the best for when you need to quickly clean out the moisture. It's also extremely durable and will be able to withstand the heat quite well.
We finish it off with a beautiful piece in the center when you walk in so that you feel as if you're going to the highest standard spa sauna in the world. All of this is in the comfort of your own home, without the need to go to far-off places to enjoy the numerous health benefits associated with properly using a spa sauna.
Our design also enables you to build everything out of body and out of mind so you only see the spa and need to only flip a switch due to how an Infrared sauna works.
